Hi, my name is Max. Im a one year old Yorkshire Terrier and Im looking for a friend like me. Preferably a pup, male or female, for fun and companionship. I live with a wonderful family who have a five year old Granddaughter that will not leave me alone when he stays. Not that I mind because I am very demanding. I get regular walks, good food, a warm bed and a big garden to run about in. Also loads of toys and hide bones and stuff to chew on. I get brushed most days and bathed/showered once or twice a month I dont like it at all. I had my hair cut once. It took the lady two hourscause I kept wriggling. Sometimes I run upstairs and rummage round the bedrooms when I am not supposed to and then I get told off. I bark a lot and get told off for that too! I like this site. We had a Rescue Beardie Collie and she died when 13 years old, we miss having her and would like to offer a home to a beardie bitch, sheltie collie or border collie. i am glad to announce that, over the weekend,we rehomed a lovely,wonderfull ball of fluff,GSD puppy.After replying to an e mail from a family in wales we got chatting on msn,setting up the web cam to see the puppies and their mother.Which i think is very important.We are now a happier and larger family unit. I have a lovely dog called Tyson, that needs a loving home. Just a few details about Tyson, he is a 2yr 8 mths old male black and tan German Shepherd, he has a full pedigree, and although i have the documents for the kennel club, he has not been registered.His latest booster he has not had yet this was due in December, nor has he been castrated. I have had Tyson since he was 7 months old. Temperment wise, on the whole he is a loverable dog, loves to swim in the lake….( his favourite pastime),has been known to catch the odd fish, but never hurts them,he likes to play, and at times is still very puppy like. He does however need someone who has the time to train him properly as although off the lead he will come on command, unfortunately hes a bit of a handfull on the lead, tends to pull. Sadly as i have been on my own with 4 children, and its my own fears, he hasnt mixed with other animals, that isnt to say with the right person, this would be possible. Hes house trained and can be left, although i dont leave him for very long periods of time, i have on occasions had to and he has been fine. He still likes to mouth hands, which is something shepherds are known for and needs to be stopped from doing so, and like i said he needs a firmer hand than i have been. Food hes fairly happy on tinned with biscuits, he doesnt like the dry food, pedigree gives him an upset tummy so have found hes quiet happy on asdas own brand or similar, loves eggs so when hes feeling poorly he likes to have them boiled. Hi, my daughter is a single parent with a 17 month old daughter and is pregnant again, this is the reason for rehoming her dog as she is now unable to give the dog the same time or commitment she once did. My daughter is looking for a very special kind of home for her dog Lucy. Lucy is a 5 year old cross breed with a lot of staffie in her, she needs a home without children or other pets. Lucy is a man’s dog she responds well to men rather than women. We would prefer to have Lucy rehomed to someone who has plenty of time on their hands to show her affection and go for long walks. Lucy does not like loud noises or traffic and does not travel well in a car therefore it would be wise to rehome her away from large towns and rehome her in a quiet area or country setting in scotland which would be a more suitable home for this loving energetic dog. Lucy is a loving loyal friendly dog who needs to be with a very understanding owner. It would be helpful if the new owners were active people. Apart from a few problems Lucy is a wonderful dog with boundless love to devote to a new owner. Please can someone help us rehome her into a good loving home.

Excellent, much needed site. Shame there are not many more like this to help prevent people purchasing pets with out the proper consideration. A pet is for life and not for a temporary period of time (i.e when the novilty and enthusiasm wears off and the pet ends up suffering for people rushing in to decisions to quickly). Purchasing a pet may seem like a good idea at the time but you must make sure you are 100% committed to the love and care this new member in your family needs. You would not treat a human being like this so why do people feel they can do it a animals? This may sound sad to some shallow people but i believe animals are equal to us and should never be taken for granted. Any views on this let me know!! Would love to hear another oppinion. Gemma

I can offer a good home to a young cat or kitten preferably a black tom but would be happy to take any young cat/kitten. Please can you help us – our 4y.o. spayed border terrier bitch vanished without trace from home in the Woking area on 12th June. We have put up posters, told everyone we can think of, she’s even been in the paper but nothing. We desperately want her back. She’s microchipped and was wearing a brown leather collar. There is a �500 reward for her dafe return. She’s red grizzle with a white patch on her chest and a grey muzzle. She’s very friendly and sociable though may be rude to other dogs when on the lead. She loves people and other dogs to play with. She has been brought up with cats and rabbits and doesn’t wish either species any harm. Please help us to get her back
