"The Convention is based on the principle that pet animals should not be abandoned, nor be caused unnecessary pain, suffering or distress. It stipulates minimum standards to which national governments should give effect, with respect to pet animals kept in households, or in any establishment for trading or commercial breeding and boarding, or in animal sanctuaries. It also makes provision with respect to stray animals and humane education programs"

Hi Webmaster.

Thank you so much - took your advice and "hey presto" found the site and an answering machine.

Have left a message so will see what happens now. Thanks again.

Hi

Little tip here.....when you click on an animal-needing-home 'advert' you'll see the title of the 'advert' the date/time etc and you'll also see the following image:

If you click on the image it will show you more details on the person / organisation 'advertising' an animal.

In this case, if you click on the little image next to abr it shows a bit more info about them and a telephone number. Hopefully, if you leave a message, someone may be kind enough to return your call. Fingers crossed

Hi just joined. Have browsed Shelter Helper for months. Recently saw Charlie and emailed All Breeds Rescue (twice) to see if we would be candidates to adopt him. Had no reply.

Can't find a telephone number for them or their Rescue Centre listed on any "doggie" web sites.

Does anyone know who, where and what they are please?

Any help gratefully received.
