I am retired so I have plenty of time to give my pet company .I also drive a car so would like my pet to be used to a car .

Hello I am an experienced dog owner whose 18 year old dog died last year year. We can once again offer a loving home and garden and we have well behaved and animal loving/considerate children. We don’t have a specific breed in mind but would like a calm and non-aggressive dog who does not bark constantly or is an excessive hair shedder. We don’t mind pedigree or cross, male or female. We would prefer a youngish dog (puppy or young adult). Neutered already would be ideal. We would like a dog perhaps who the owners have to give up reluctantly due to unforeseen life events, not because of intractable behavioural problems.. We are near Croydon. I lost my little dog Oscar last week. My remaining dog (his daughter) is miserable without her companion. I am offering a home to a shihtzu who might be a little older 4 or 5 to live a good life with us.

I am in a lucky position of being able to take my dogs to work every day as i work in a care home. They get completely spoilt and make the residents very happy.

They are rarely left alone but have a dog flap and a garden to themselves. They get a walk every day in the park at the bottom of the road. we live in London but have a lot of out door time with our friends in the park.

Please help me cheer up Mabel who is so sad on her own.

I have recently been looking for a dog that needs a new home. I am not too worried about the breed or sex.
I own my own house in Bracknell, Berkshire with a small garden and am willing to travel a reasonable distance to see the dog.
I had dogs when living with my parents and really miss having one around in my house.
I have 2 friends lodging with me who both like dogs and had dogs at their parents houses.
They say that they would love a dog in the house.

We do all work full time. However, I am planning on getting a dog walker every lunch time for 1 hour.
The cost of this will not be an issue as I am in a good job. I am also home early (3 o'clock) on fridays.
Dog would have half hour walk in the morning, need to be left for 4 hrs, then have an hours walk at lunch time, then left 4 hours after lunch. I can take it out for a nice long walk in the evenings and weekends. I have a nice big quiet field behind my house and woodland to the front where I could take it to run about.

If I ever go on holiday the dog can stay with my parents as they only live 5 minutes from my house. I would never put it in a boarding kennels.

I am hoping to find a dog that is maybe already used to being left for short periods without being too vocal or destructive. I don't want to be unfair on the dog so it's important I find the right dog. It's actually proving quite difficult.

We can offer a loving home to small dog who likes cuddles and company and can get on well with other animals and children. We have a rescued labrador x who loves other dogs as well as four cats and hope to have children soon - so we need a dog who likes to be part of a crowd. We work from home so there is always company and we walk our current dog twice a day at fields and woods across the road from our house where there are lots of other dogs to play with and interesting smells to sniff! Ideally we would like small dog - we would consider anything up to the size of a Springer Spaniel.

Our current dog is a 1 year old male - our ideal companion would be a small female 1 year + .. but we are flexible!

I am looking for a (free) dog to be my companion. I have had a number of dogs in the past, some of which were rescue dogs.
Pedigree or cross breed doesn't matter medium to large size dog prefered but all considered.
Does need to be house trained and friendly towards children(I have grandchildren).
I have a very large garden (almost half an acre) I am at home most of the day so he or she would not get lonely. I am eventually looking to have two dogs as I believe its always better for a dog to have a companion.
I am allergic to dogs who moult heavily therefore would prefer a dog that didn't.
My last dog was a smoothhaired dachshund, miss her!
I have been told of a lab/poodle cross called labradoodle?..so anything like this would be good.
Although I can provide a good home and the dog will be well fed, my funds are limited (pension credit)I brought up four children on my own, so never able to earn good pension.

We are currently looking for a young female dog to join our family. Ideally will be good with other dogs and cats, as we have lots of doggy visitors, but no other animals at home. We would love a medium sized dog, but also have experience of dalmations, so would really like another. We have a secure garden and lots of lovely woodlands and country side for walks.
