| Oz - Beautiful GSD
Cassie 19/11/08 17:03
Oz is a 3-year-old white German Shepherd male. He is very handsome and has a strong character but loves nothing more than playing fetch with his toys.
His owner had to return to full time employment due to financial circumstances, this meant he did not receive the attention he needed. This caused him to become a little stressed and resulted in a mild skin condition. Since being with Every Chance, the skin condition has disappeared.
Oz needs an owner that will spend time interacting with him. He is a smart dog and with the right interaction becomes a relaxed, calm, happy dog. He would suit a home with adults and older children.
All Every Chance dogs are rehomed vaccinated, neutered, micro chipped and with an offer of a consultation and a lifetime of back up in the Jan Fennell method of canine communication, Amichien Bonding, which has enabled this dog to have Every Chance of a future.
If you decide that Oz is for you then please telephone 07751549799 and state that you would like to adopt Oz or email: ECREHOME@BTINTERNET.COM |

| Very, very, unwanted pooch
Adrienne 19/11/08 15:21
Leo
Collie x Male 14 years
Not the most handsome of chaps but a real darling. Leo is quite a one for the ladies despite his advanced years so best as an only dog.
Leo has spent a whole year in the Welsh Dog Pound, whilst his former owner’s family decided what they should do with Leo. So this poor old lad is truly in need of a forever home.
Leo is good on the lead, loves to go for a short walk so would suit someone that likes a wee stroll, rather than a twenty-mile hike.
Leo loves his food and only dreams of lovely warm fire to lay his weary head down by after his supper.
He is clean and tidy, but remember he must learn where the back door is, but he will catch on real fast.
Leo is currently needing to have a bath on a weekly basis for a skin condition, with medicated shampoo, for which we at Last Chance will happily supply, we can even give him the bath if you live locally. He is also a bit hard of hearing bless him, but please don’t think he hasn’t got the zest for life, because I can tell you he has.
This darling old man, can’t spend any more time in a kennel, he was once a loving companion, he doesn’t understand why there is no door opening to him. He needs a loving retirement home to live out the rest of his days. Surly there must be someone out there that can help with this wee soul?, remember we will be there for any or all the support you may need.
Come on, make his Christmas come true
Leo is up to date with his vaccinations, flea and worm treated, he is not neutered due to his age, mirco chipped and will have six weeks free insurance with Pet Plan.

| Single Black Female
Adrienne 19/11/08 14:55
Scarlet Staffie/Terrier
SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play. I love long walks in the woods, riding in your car, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Call 01732 865530 and ask anyone about me, I'll be waiting. ..... Scarlet is a very nice girl, she is very lively and playful so would suit being rehomed with another well trained dog to help show her the ropes. She would still benefit from training and lots of exercise.
She good with other dogs, and would make a wonderful pet with older children 10yrs+ due to her passion for having fun. A wonderful dog, she is small and compact, smooth shiny coated, a real sweet heart looking for LOOOOOOOOOVE
Scarlet is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations, ID Chipped, flea and worm treated, and has six weeks free insurance with his adoption..

| Basil - Springer Spaniel
Seapigeon 18/11/08 9:05
Basil (or Frazzy B as he is known) has come into rescue with BSR as his owner has had a change of circumstances and can no longer give Basil the attention he deserves.

He is with Sally in Lincolnshire and this is what she says about the lovely boy;
"I find Basil an easy older laid back boy, he sleeps and mixes well with all of my dogs and has mixed well on the walks I have taken him on with other dogs too, he is not possesive over food or toys in any way, however I feel it would be too much for him to live with a very lively young dog 24/7 as he likes his peace and quiet, he walks well on an extending lead and generally plods about 5ft in front of you (Isabelle my daughter 4yrs. tends to walk him) Again he is fine with children of any age but I feel exciteable toddlers in the home would be too much for him so older children or visiting grandchildren would be more preferable.
Basil does have some medical conditions all of which will be paid for by his previous owner for life directly to the vets or to the new owner. Basil suffers from epilepsy and without fail needs his medication morning and evening otherwise he will have a fit. He is also on piriton and 1/2 a steroid tablet daily otherwise he will chew his feet, although on the balance of medication he has left them well alone for some time now. Again he has had no fits for a number of months.
His tablets can make him hungry so he will pinch food at a given opportunity, but will listen if told "no" (although my Daisy is far worse and she is in perfect health ) although this is his only major quirk that I found while he has been here. He sleeps well through the night after a 20 minute walk and is perfectly housetrained. He was rather unfit and a little overweight but better now he is having regular exercise. He is the kind of boy that would enjoy walking to the paper shop and back on a morning He has fairly good re-call but tends to stay within a couple of feet of you off lead.
Basil is an undemanding boy who needs a steady retirement home that will give him all of the love and attention he deserves."
He is neutered and vaxed.
For any further information please call Sally on 01472 388577 or 07984 033144 Basil is based in Lincolnshire

| Bailey, longhaired Collie cross puppy
haws 15/11/08 3:53
Bailey is a sable, 4 and a half month old Border Collie cross. He came into rescue as a pure Border Collie but we feel that he is more likely to be a cross with a Belgian Shepherd or Rough Collie. What ever he is he is absolutely stunning!
Bailey has the mind and characteristics of a Collie and would thrive in an active home where his brain and energy will be put to good use. An agilty or obedience home would be super but not necessary. He is crate trained and travels fine in the car.
Bailey comes from a family home and fundamentally was rehomed due to a marriage split. Additionally, the family were finding Bailey too much to manage as their lifestyle was not geared up for an active and intelligent dog, he received little formal training and irregular exercise in his previous home. By the families own admission, they made a mistake getting a puppy in the first place as they didn’t have the time to put into him. Now in foster, he is responding well to routine, short but regular training sessions and exercise. He is fostered with other dogs, which he loves to play with. Bailey will have a medium to long coat once adult so will need regular brushing.
As well as plenty of cuddles, Bailey loves toys and chewy bones and is partial to a bit of sausage. He is learning good manners but still needs further input. Any potential home must be willing to enrol him into training classes (with positive methods) to further his training and socialization. His ideal forever home would be experienced with this breed type and reside in the South East (for ease of homechecking).
Bailey is vaccinated, microchipped worm and flea treated and is in overall good health but too young to be neutered. His new family must be prepared to neuter him the appropriate age.
If you would like to offer Bailey his ideal home then please email hounslowanimalwelfare@live.com outlining the type of home you are offering. |

| Carrie
Seapigeon 14/11/08 14:17
Carrie is a gorgeous, silky coated Springer X Flatcoat Retriever (we think), only about 1 year old. She was rescued from a pound after being picked up as a stray. She spent 7 days in there without being claimed.

She has a very affectionate and outgoing nature. Very playful and good recall but strong on the lead. She has had some lead training and is already improving. Just neutered and is vaxed and microchipped.
Carrie will make a superb family pet or perhaps an agility prospect if somone is prepared to put in the training. She has been living outside until now so will need further house-training too. She is quiet indoors but will scratch at the door sometimes to gain attention. Great with other dogs but no idea about cats. Very good in the car. Not sure yet how she would be as an only dog as she has been living with most of our gang at the moment.
She is the size of a medium to large Springer, fairly stocky with good muscle tone. Her tail is half docked. A really beautiful girl.
We would prefer a family with older or no children so that she will get the attention she needs to bring out her full potential.
A home check and a donation to help with costs will be required please.

| Merlin- Irish Fox Hound Pup
Seapigeon 14/11/08 14:14
Merlin unfortunately found himself in an Irish pound at only 7 weeks old.
He is now thriving at 17 weeks old and has come to live with us in the UK.
He will be looking for a home with someone who understands hounds and will be willing to train him. We would like to see him go to a farming type home or at least somewhere rural. He will not be homed in a built up area.
Merlin is great with people and other dogs and totally ignores our horses. He has got a good singing voice at teatime and when he wants attention!

Up to date with vaccinations but too young to neuter. We will insist on him being neutered when old enough and will ask for confirmation that this has been carried out. Merlin is a very special little hound.
Update- Merlin is now 8 months old and still waiting for that special home.
For more information please call Jackie or Roger on 01844 201271 or 07887928931.

| Whoopi Patterdale puppy 4 months Berks
ResRem 14/11/08 13:59
Whoopi is a busy little Patterdale pup. 4 months old and has been in foster now for 7 weeks. We knew her parents, as we rescued them with her and her sister. They have been rehomed and just Whoopi to go. Whoopi has had extra time in foster and are now certain she has weathered the storm as the previous owners had bred for money and not offered the pups any handling or training. Her sister found a special home earlier. Whoopi has been living with children; dogs and received the very best in foster care. She is now very well socialised and caught up on all those missed milestones of development which was so evident when we first met the pups. Whoopi is fully vax'd, wormed and flea treated and being fostered in Berks
Whoopi has turn 'gold' and will host your chat show as she now has a lot to say for herself and yet is able to listen too! She is nearly housetrained and been exposed to lovely walks and everyday experiences. She is however still a Patterdale (Black fell terrier) which is a working terrier with instincts geared towards chase and kill of small furries. We are therefore looking for a home that understands her as adults so that when her instincts surface between 9-12 months the family is well prepared and can manage her so she is safe and loved for the breed she so much is. Her parents have a good disposition but her father wasn't exposed to the outside life and is needing extra help to socialise currently. They are wonderful loving dogs and Whoopi and her sister will be the same as is now evident. So Whoopi nows your turn!! Whoopieeee
So Whoopi is looking for a terrier home conversant with their ways and security issues. She will give so much into your life in return hope you have a sense of adventure and humour!....please complete our questionnaire via our website. Posted on behalf of ProDogsDirect.
Update: Tugs is in his forever home!
Tugs is a friendly small fine red and white male Papillion who is around 9” and 6 years old.

Tugs needs to be homed as an only dog. He is fine with cats as he was brought up with them.
He is a very loving and affectionate dog.

Tugs needs an owner who will not only love him but also be firm with him and not let him get away with his little quirks.
As he is quite tiny in stature we won't be homing Tugs with young children as he could get kicked by accident, or they could fall over him with little Tugs getting hurt.

| Eva - Adorable Staffie girl 8 years; South London area
mariac 14/11/08 10:05
Posted on behalf of ProDogsDirect.
Update: Eva is in her forever home!
Eva is an adorable 8-year-old female Staffie looking for a new home.

She is in kennels and desparately needs a foster home (or a forever home). Can anyone help?

She was found as a stray so we don't have any history, but we have found her to be good with people.
Eva is a little unsure around other animals so she would be better in a home as an only pet and with older children only.

This lass desperately needs a home of her own as she shouldn't be in kennels at her time of life, she has so much love to give as only a Staffie can.
Eva is ready for cuddles, a comfy sofa and a warm fireside for her retirement.
If you are interested in giving Eva the foster or forever home she deserves please contact Pam today:

| Cece cross breed 4-5 yrs Farnham Surrey
ResRem 14/11/08 10:00
Cece is a wonderful wonderful girl. About 4-5 yrs old. Complete cross breed with all the best bits of everything in one dog! She is close to being human..she really engages and talks to you and oh the love in those eyes...her heart is for the giving and taking. So we are looking for a special home who will offer their heart to merge with hers. You see Cece has had it rough lately. Found stray with no claimers. ..no takers.. She has lost weight with the stress of kennels and just not knowing what was going on ?why have they put me in prison? Perhaps she didn't want to know the mutterings that went on in the pound office and the alarmed look on Sophie's face as she walked up to her kennel to say hello, holding back the tears with a noticeable worried brow..'the put to sleep label' was hovering in the air and in her mind..."no way we must find you a rescue place1". Then an email to xxlynne would she take Dalton the terrier..but then xxlynne saw Cece and it had to be Cece also (and why not Timmy as well!)
Cece is great with dogs, cats and people we were told and she sure is! She sadly had to have a 1/3 of her tail off when spayed on the 11th..but then she had such a busy tail..perhaps it will save a few coffee and wine spillages in the future home! Kennelled in Farnham Surrey
Cece is overready and everready for love and fun and lots of laughs and games...are you game? Please complete our questionnaire via our website. Please visit his thread under dogs home from home on our forum via our website Click HERE Rescue Remedies |

| Chester JRT x Cavelvier a scamp pup! Farnham
ResRem 14/11/08 3:12
Chester is a 7 month old Jack Russell x Cavalier oh he is a lovely little boy but got way above his station in his home and began nipping. His family found it hard to issue command over him. In foster now for a week and is learning to know his place and anyway is just too busy playing with his Border terrier foster brother to rule the house. He is a scamp and runs off with shoes and socks and paper and... He is loving his time in foster and we are looking for such a fun place for him to enjoy being a puppy in, in his home. He is a little scared of children and although fostered with them is better to go to a home where he knows his role in the pack and isn't confused whether he is mastered or master.
Needs trust building eg learning to be stroked and cuddled; belly rubs oh what a joy. Had a delicate tummy as a young pup but seems to growing out of that nicely. Chester barks at the door bell, sleeps all night in a crate, outside is good on lead but unsure of traffic All in all he is settling well and has started a new with a aware, forwarned and confident family..so able to relinguish the stressful role of managing the show..to junior!
If you love Jack Russell and are confident you can continue with his rehab. If you like this little designer dog, he could be designed and destined for YOU ....please complete our questionnaire via our website. Please visit his thread under dogs in kennels on our forum via our websiteClick HERE Rescue Remedies |
